Black Sticks draw nil-all with Olympic champions Germany in warm up match for Champions Trophy in Argentina

The New Zealand women's hockey team has turned in another solid performance in holding Olympic champions Germany to a goalless draw in Rosario.

The two sides are preparing for the Champions Trophy which starts in Argentina at the weekend.

Black Sticks captain Di Weavers says they were a bit flat after the good win over the hosts earlier this week.

She says they are disappointed with their performance because they played better against Argentina.

Weavers says they did create quite a few scoring opportunities but could not convert.

Germany played the match after arriving in the country only earlier in the day after a 30 hour trip from Europe.

The shortened match was played over two twenty minute halves.
